L. Sforza who was the patron of Da Vinci got defeated by the French Invasion in 1499. Meanwhile, he did a painting of Battle of Anghiari which became one of the best-influenced artworks at that time. However, the art did not get complete and was destroyed in a short time. Moving ahead, he started working on the painting of Mona Lisa. While this painting became one of the most intriguing pictures of all time. To paint this picture, Mona Lisa would come to Da Vinci and would sit for long hours to get her to portray painted. Nevertheless, she denied giving a smile. To make her smile, Leonardo made every possible arrangement but all went in vain. Then, a day came when she smiled for just a second and Leonardo who was waiting so long for this moment, captured that smile. However, this evidence led to mysteriousness making the painting more interesting and intriguing.

Leonardo continued his studies into engineering along with science and other subjects as well. He never stopped studying and made a lot of notes which were not even possible to decode till today. He would create complex machine models and especially that of the flights. Da Vinci was an interesting personality who would purchase a few birds and would make them fly. This was just to see the birds flying away. However, he also strived to make a flying object by himself.
